Alan D. Schnitzer is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Travelers. He previously served as Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Business and International Insurance from July 2014 to December 2015. He joined Travelers as Vice Chairman and Chief Legal Officer in April 2007 and held positions of increasing responsibility. Prior to joining Travelers, he was a partner at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP.
