Mr. Whitman joined SPX in January 2026 following a 20-year career with Parker-Hannifin Corporation, where he served most recently as Vice President, Law, Deputy General Counsel and Assistant Secretary. Before law school, he served in various engineering roles at Ingersoll-Rand and Air Technologies, and holds a mechanical engineering degree from Purdue University.
