Professional narrative

About

Former Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Anthem, Inc. (now Elevance Health, Inc.), a health benefits provider. Served as President and CEO from 2013 to November 2017, became Chairman in 2015, and Executive Chairman in November 2017. Retired in May 2018 and served as Senior Advisor to Anthem until May 2020. Previously held CEO and senior executive positions at Trinity Health and other healthcare enterprises.
