Admiral Donald has served as Chairman of the Board of HII since April 2020. He served as Chief Operating Officer and then President and Chief Executive Officer of Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc., a technical professional services company from June 2013 to October 2015. He served 37 years in the U.S. Navy, including as Director, Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program from November 2004 to November 2012.
