Dr. Kutzkey serves as Managing Partner of The Column Group, a venture capital partnership, where he has worked since 2007. He previously served as interim CEO of Surrozen from inception to April 2018 and as a scientist at Kai Pharmaceuticals. He serves on boards of several privately held biotechnology companies and holds a Ph.D. in molecular and cell biology from UC Berkeley.
